Velvet Intoxication

So I got a sample of the real initio narcotic delight to compare, b/c I got this as a sample with a different order and when I tell you I wanted it more than what I ordered! Now as far as smelling like the OG, I'd say it's 20% or less. The OG is definitely unisex leaning far more masculine. Dappers version is definitely leaning more feminine. Which I absolutely love! It's in my top 3 perfumes EVER! And I pray they NEVER get rid of it. So the notes are Cherry(do not smell cherry on its own, definitely not like the Kayali cherry fragrance or Tom Ford cherry fragrance, this is a much better done cherry to where it mixes in so well b/c honestly I'm not a cherry fragrance girl), Pink Pepper(any fragrance I've ever tried with pink pepper I've absolutely loved! I.e. glossier you & one of the bright crystals I think has pink pepper, regardless it's amazing!) and Black Pepper(can't pick it out with my nose) middle notes are Cognac(definitely smell and it's perfectly done! Not too boozy at all!) and Hedione Tobacco(I guess I kind of smell this but this perfume is mixed so well that nothing sticks out as too much or overpowering) and Vanilla(definitely smell the vanilla, but once again it's mixed so well u can't say, "oh too much of this or that" b/c it's perfect!) hope this helped someone!
There is something about this perfume that makes it so gooood! I wish I could compare it to something. But it's definitely in a league of its own. It lasts. Boy does it last. I usually buy the oil rollerball and the perfume and I'll smell it weeks later on my jacket or hoodie I sprayed it on and put it back in coat closet. It doesn't fade until you wash it off. Lasts on my body just the same. I'm addicted. If you like slightly boozy fragrances and skin scents that are so well mixed you can't believe they are calling this a dupe of anything b/c it is a million times better than the OG and honestly not enough alike to even call it a dupe. I'd never wear the OG b/c it's so overpowering and masculine. Idk how they got this version from the OG.... but they did a far better job! And the perfume lasts the same as the oil. U don't need both. I just want to be smelled before I'm seen. I love ppl complementing me on how good I smell 😂 so I layer both on pressure points and it definitely works. Anyway, this is my first and probably last review since I see they got rid of my other favorite fragrance from them, which was a dapper original 😭 hope they bring it back. But I left this long winded review b/c I saw this deserving fragrance didn't have not one. So let me be your encouragement to get this fragrance, if u like the notes you will love it then! It doesn't make me sneeze either. Thought I'd include that. Some fragrances when u first spray them they make u sneeze or irritate or burn your nose. This does not do that. Anyway! God bless!
